School Wellness Technical Support

Grow Healthy provides technical assistance to create and maintain a healthier school or child care environment. Trainings and resources are available to elementary schools and childcare sites to assist with:

1. Utilizing a wellness council/team to improve the wellness environment.
2. Understanding the Healthier Hunger Free Kids Act and/or State wellness policies.
3. Assessing current wellness policies and prioritizing areas for improvement.
4. Engaging students, families and the community to support wellness initiatives.
5. School food waste reduction.
