Improving Soil Quality By Increasing Organic Matter Content

First Paragraph:
The US Department of Agriculture defines soil quality as ‘the capacity of a soil to function, within natural or managed ecosystem boundaries, to sustain plant and animal productivity, maintain or enhance water and air quality, and support human health and habitation’ (USDA-NRCS). Organic matter content is an important component of soil quality.
