Pineapple Weed

Matricaria matricarioides

Pineapple weed is a problem in spinach and other vegetable crops. When crushed the leaves have the distinct fragrance of pineapple. It is a winter annual and difficult to control. The flower closely resembles mayweed except there are no ray flowers.
