Safe Soil: A Healthier Way to Garden

Healthy soil can help your garden look beautiful and provide healthy food for your family. But soil in urban areas can sometimes be contaminated with lead. It is not safe to garden or play in soil that has high lead levels. Knowing the lead level of your soil is important because contact with lead can negatively affect your health and the health of children living in the home. (Spanish version available - E342SP)
