Lawn & Garden

Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) Cooperative Extension offers home gardeners extensive, research-based information on many horticultural topics. Information is available through Rutgers Cooperative Extension county offices.

In most counties, Rutgers-trained Master Gardener volunteers handle questions from the public through the Rutgers Master Gardener Helpline. (Hours of operation vary by county.) When necessary, Rutgers faculty and professional staff can answer questions, diagnose plant pest and disease problems, and identify plants and insects.
