Youth Farmstand Working Group

Purpose

In the Spring of 2004 the RCE Youth Farmstand Working Group was formed by Dr. Karyn Malinowski, Director of Extension and Dean of Outreach and Extension Programs. The group was charged with:

  • Developing and implementing a Youth Farmstand Program in accordance with criteria set by RCE & Cook College,
  • Designing standardized educational and outreach materials to meet program outcome goals,
  • Creating appropriate tools and processes needed to facilitate program delivery at state and county levels,
  • Developing multi-institutional collaborations to support the program at community, county and state levels, and
  • Promoting the RCE Youth Farmstand Program to regional and national audiences for replication.
