Blood pressure is the force of blood against artery walls, and when it is too high, the heart is working harder than it should. This pressure can cause damage to all parts of your body. This presentation, High Blood Pressure: What Can I Do?, describes the incidence and seriousness of the medical problem called hypertension. It is called the silent killer, because it often has no warning signs or symptoms. This presentation will help you to understand how to prevent and control high blood pressure. If uncontrolled, it can lead to heart and kidney disease as well as stroke.
