This web site contains general personal finance information that was developed from 1996 through 2004 both during and after the Money 2000 program.
Money 2000 is a program that was conducted by Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) Cooperative Extension between 1996 and 2000 to increase the financial well-being of New Jersey residents. Almost 2,000 households enrolled and were encouraged to set a personal financial goal to increase savings and/or reduce debt. By January 2001, participants had collectively improved their net worth by more than $7 million. Read more about Money 2000 (24k PDF).
