Center for Urban Restoration Ecology

The Center for Urban Restoration Ecology is a collaboration of scientists and educators from the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, and other units of Rutgers and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Its mission is to restore and enhance the ecological intergrity and biodiversity of degraded public and private lands. Work is done throughout the New York-New Jersey metropolitan region. The center does research and university and outreach education, and publishes a journal, Urban Habitats.
