Tours and Filming
Indoor Facilities
Tours, filming, and photography of the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) and the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) indoor animal facilities must be coordinated through the University Animal Care and Facilities Committee. Faculty wishing to coordinate a tour or host a news media event should first contact the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
University policy requires the inclusion of a staff media specialist at any filming or photography shoot, whether animal related or not. For NJAES or SEBS, contact Melissa Selesky at 732-932-7823, ext. 676. See ur.rutgers.edu/community/filming_permits.shtml for the university's filming guidelines.
Outdoor Farm Facilities
An exemption has been made for the SEBS farm animals in matters of media contact. With regard to the outdoor animal facilities, media visitation and filming may proceed at the discretion of the SEBS director of animal care, Dr. Michael J. Fennell.
Faculty on the G. H. Cook Campus are encouraged to contact Dr. Fennell at 732-932-7412 if they have questions or want assistance with coordination of an event.
