Animal Husbandry and Research Consultation

As part of the Services provided by the Offices of Animal Care/Services, faculty are encouraged to contact either Dr. Michael J. Fennell or Dr. Robert L. Harris with questions pertaining to any aspect of the care of animals or in the planning of research, teaching or demonstration using animals. Drs. Harris and Fennell are both knowledgeable about the provisions of care needed for research animals and in particular can assist with planning and grant submissions. Extra special planning is often needed in the conduct of research utilizing the larger farm animal species, such as unique housing requirements, specialized care and open space management. Most of the farm or agricultural animal questions can be directed to Dr. Michael J. Fennell.
